Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka from Minsk (the capital of Belarus) She is the child of Sergey. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. 2019.) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka hails from Belarus and was born on May 5, 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles, one of which was crowned "Grand Slam" in the Australian Open 2023. She is also an excellent doubles player she has two Majors to her name in this category, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. She also achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. The feat was achieved by four couples competing in singles for women. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself to the top of the list during February of that same year following her victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player born in Belarus to achieve success in this particular area. She was trained by an ex- Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season and partially at the start of 2020. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September 2020. From the beginning of 2020 she's been coaching by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova are her greatest idols.
